when our first-born daughter had a series of health issues as an infant, we started seriously looking at the products we were using in our home. we learned that her little body was very sensitive to toxins…and they were everywhere. in our personal care products, our cleaning products, my make-up and perfume, her soap, our kitchenware, candles, laundry, and our furniture. and while i don’t recommend becoming completely and utterly consumed with researching and replacing every product in your home as quickly as possible like i did :) i do recommend that you spend some time learning about some very common toxins and chemicals that in almost nearly all conventional products cleaning and personal care products and how they can affect both our short and long term health.
