amazon roundup

here’s a round-up of random, useful things I’ve bought on Amazon recently and really loved!

  1. aarke carbonator — I’ve been wanting a soda-stream for a while because 1) my whole family loves “spicy water” and 2) I wanted to make my own magnesium bicarbonate. I bought the aarke carbonator and I love it so much. worth the extra dollars for the beautiful aesthetic. if i’m keeping it on my counter, I want it to be pretty!

  2. checkered hair clips — these no crease hair clips are so cute and they work perfectly! use them to keep your hair back when you’re washing your face or applying your makeup. i’ve left them in for hours with no creases or weird marks in my hair!

  3. weck juice jars — my girls love the lemonade ultima hydration powder in their water, and I got sick of constantly making it for them cup by cup, so I bought these cute weck jars to make it in bigger batches! i’ve also used them for milk, cocktail mixes, and even flowers. they’re a good add to your glassware collection!

  4. food storage set — my pantry was constantly messy until I bought these food storage containers. it’s a 24 pack of containers in 3 different sizes! I love them because all of the lids are the same size regardless of the size of the container. they stack on top of each other neatly in your pantry, they’re dishwasher safe, and they’re easy to store if you don’t need all 24. now that I have them, I’ll never be without them!

  5. the perfect duvet insert — the last time my girls were sick, one of my duvet inserts got ruined by bodily fluids. one of my favorite bloggers, Chris Loves Julia, did a duvet round-up, and this one was #2 on the list! the best part about it is it’s only $40 😮 ! it has become my favorite duvet for a few reasons. first, it totally fills out my duvet covers. sometimes “king” duvet inserts aren’t actually big enough to totally fill king duvet covers and there’s a big gap on one of the sides — annoying! secondly, it’s a down alternative. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I ended up loving it so much! it’s much more lightweight and fluffy than a down-filled duvet cover. we’re hot sleepers so the lighter insert is amazing…and who doesn’t love a fluffy looking bed?!

hot tip — even though it’s a few dollars more, opt for the white one. I made the mistake of buying the “tan” one because it was a bit cheaper…it’s more of a peach color and I could see a peachy tint through all of my light colored duvets!

  6. silicone mug — margot loves to drink “coffee” with me in the morning, but we’ve had a few broken mugs and the glass ones are always heavy for her, so I found think cute pink silicone mug for her and she loves it! so do I because I don’t have to worry about it breaking 😆 this would be cute to add to an Easter basket.

  7. selfie stick — if you’re a content creator or even if you just need a good tripod…get this selfie stick! I am obsessed with it. it unfolds into a full size tripod, so you can set it up anywhere for a family photo, etc. but you can adjust it to any size, so you can also pop it on your kitchen counter if you’re recording yourself making a latte or dinner (cuz everyone does that, right?). it also folds up small enough to fit in your purse or bag, which is probably my favorite part about it! it comes with a bluetooth remote to control your phone camera from far away, and it also has a small light if you’re lighting situation isn’t ideal. I really think this would come in handy for anyone whether you’re a content creator or not!
